Lol. Cats are unpredictable and you pretty much have to know your cat’s personality. My cat loves this and any toy that seems to mimic prey. Fast moving. Even toys with pop out feathers as long as it’s a moving target.
He doesn’t like the ball toy that blinks and rolls on it’s own, yet he loves chasing very specific balls that i throw or roll.
It took me years and lost funds on things i thought he would like .
I then paid attention to what got him excited and realised i needed to be very specific when choosing.

They dont always react excited right away. But we as humans look for our idea of interest. Cats have original DNA
they are very cautious so they may simply observe, perhaps for a lomg time before they decide to interact or not. Also … individual personality and experience.
